Description:

Graelic provided concept planning services to the City of Cleveland in determining the most appropriate location and configuration of parking for this parking facility, which serves Cleveland City Hall.  The firm also developed the functional plan and design.  Following this project, the City selected Graelic to provide the functional design and parking consultation  for twin garages for Hopkins International Airport, totaling over 3,800 spaces.

Description:

Graelic developed special ramping systems serving the first level of the garage, which is located 25’ above grade due to the movie theaters located on the first floor.  A double helix design was chosen due to the height of the structure and to create dual circuits for maximum flexibility.

Description:

Graelic provided concept planning and master planning for the phased office complex development.  Each office tower utilized underground parking to serve its tenants.  The facility is planned to have all of the garages interconnected at the completion of the five office towers. The structural grids and cores of each tower were  coordinated with the parking layout and traffic flow to allow for maximum efficiency.

Description:

Graelic provided concept planning services to HDR, the lead Architect / Engineer of the project.  The project consisted of placing a very large garage structure into an existing medical campus. A dedicated walkway was created, serving pedestrians the entire length of the garage. Dual sloping floor ramp systems were employed into the design to serve the number of vehicles parked and aid in efficiency of the design.

Description:

Graelic provided concept planning for the retail mall development.  A unified structural system was developed to be utilized for each subsequent garage design.  The structural system had to be repetitive and simplistic enough to be applied to each garage regardless of it shape to ensure a cost effective solution.
